On March 28, 1985, the company opened, producing and
operating injection moulds, craft candles, quartz clock
movements, plastic products and household art and daily
necessities produced with chemical materials.
In1988, JMPT won the bidding of Shanghai Volkswagen Co. Ltd. and became the exclusive designated production plant of Shanghai Volkswagen Santana car bumper.

Jiangnan Mould & Technology Co, Ltd. was established in June 1988. It is mainly engaged in the development, production and sales of plastic parts, moulds, etc.
1989
In September 1989,，JMPT supplied bulk to Shanghai Volkswagen and became one of the governing units of Shanghai Volkswagen Localization Community.

On February 28, 1997,，the company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The stock is referred to as "Xingcheng shares".
In 2000, the company changed its name to Jiangnan Mould & Technology Co., Ltd., referred to as JMPT for short. The company's stock code is 000700.

2In July 2003,Shanghai Mingchen was put into production, and the company officially stepped out of Jiangsu and began the nationwide industrial layout.
At the end of 2003, the group company and molding technology jointly established Wuhan Mingjie Mould &Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. to accelerate the pace of national distribution.

Shenyang Minghua Mould & Technology Co., Ltd. was completed and put into production, becoming the first localization partner of German （BMW）in China.
In 2006Yantai Mingyue Mould Co., Ltd. was registered and gradually became one of the largest bumper production bases in China.
In 2008,JMPT and Hainachuan Auto Parts Co., Ltd. jointly established Beijing Beiqi Mould &Plastic Technology Co., Ltd.

In April 2013, JMPT invested in the establishment of a large high-end general hospital, namely—Wuxi Mingci Cardiovascular Hospital.
On March 29, 2014,n Dusseldorf, Germany, President Xi Jinping met with Chairman Cao Kebo.

On July 16, 2014，the Supervisory Board of the BMW Group of Germany visited JMPT.
In October 2014,a cooperation agreement was reached with the Heart and Diabetes Center of North Rhine-Westphalia about Wuxi Mingci Hospital.

On December 25, 2017,Jiangyin Daoda Automobile Decorative Parts Co., Ltd and Shenyang Daoda Automobile Decorative Parts Co., Ltd completed the transfer of assets.
